About HNCFS
海南外國語職業(yè)學(xué)院,坐落于中國首個濱海衛(wèi)星發(fā)射基地——海南省文昌市,校園占地面積850余畝,教學(xué)條件優(yōu)越,是海南省唯一一所公辦全日制外語類高等職業(yè)院校,也是海南省外語語種最多、外語專業(yè)最齊的高校。2012年成為海南省廳市共建高校,2022年4月獲批建設(shè)省“雙高?!?,2025年通過教育部辦學(xué)能力評價。
Situated in Wenchang City, home to China's first coastal satellite launch center, Hainan College of Foreign Studies(HNCFS) covers a total area of 850 mu and is blessed with the advantageous teaching conditions.It is the sole full-time public vocational college of foreign languages in Hainan, offering the most complete range of language-related majors. HNCFS, which steadily developed into the college co-constructed by Education Department of Hainan Province and Wenchang City in 2012, gained the official approval of being built into a provincial-level “Double-High Plan College” in April 2022. The college passed the Education-running Capacity Evaluation organized by the Ministry of Education in 2025.
歷史沿革 History
學(xué)校創(chuàng)建于1947年,初址在文昌孔廟,名為文昌子文簡易師范學(xué)校。1950年4月,文昌縣人民政府接管學(xué)校,同年8月更名為“文昌縣立師范學(xué)?!?;1951年春改稱為“文昌師范學(xué)?!?;1957年更名為“廣東文昌師范學(xué)?!?;1961年6月遷址文昌文教宋六坡部隊營房續(xù)辦,1968年解散停辦。1970年借用文昌僑中校舍復(fù)辦,1981年遷到現(xiàn)址。海南建省后,1988年5月改為“海南文昌師范學(xué)?!?;1993年9月改為“海南外國語師范學(xué)?!?;2003年6月升格為“海南外國語職業(yè)學(xué)院”,2004年3月28日掛牌。
Founded in 1947, the college was at first named Wenchang Ziwen Basic Normal School located in Wenchang Confucius Temple. In April 1950, the school was taken over by Wenchang government and renamed Wenchang County Normal School. In the spring of 1951, it was renamed Wenchang Normal School. In 1957 the school was renamed Wenchang Normal School of' Guangdong under the administration of Guangdong Province. In 1961, the school moved to Songliu which used to be the old army barracks in Wenchang. In 1968, the school was closed down and stopped recruiting students. In1970, the school resumed the admission by using temporarily the school buildings of Wenchang Overseas Chinese Middle School. In 1981, the school moved to its present location, and in 1988, it was renamed Hainan Wenchang Normal School with the establishment of Hainan province. In 1993 the school was renamed Hainan Foreign Languages Normal School. In June 2003, approved by Hainan Provincial Government, the school was upgraded to Hainan Foreign Language College of Professional Education. On March 28, 2004, the college was officially established and began to enroll students from all over the country, and is now named Hainan College of Foreign Studies.
人才培養(yǎng) Talents Cultivation
學(xué)?,F(xiàn)有馬克思主義學(xué)院、英語學(xué)院、國際商務(wù)學(xué)院、東方語言學(xué)院、西方語言學(xué)院、國際旅游學(xué)院、人文藝術(shù)學(xué)院、體育學(xué)院、國際智能學(xué)院等9個二級學(xué)院44個專業(yè),在校生規(guī)模9000余人。近年來,學(xué)校深化“外語+專業(yè)+人工智能”人才培養(yǎng)模式,著力培養(yǎng)厚植家國情懷、具有國際視野和跨文化交際能力的高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型人才。學(xué)生在各級各類翻譯、演講、技能、文體等大賽中屢創(chuàng)佳績,近5年共榮獲200余項國家級獎勵和500多項省級獎勵,尤其是獲得世界職業(yè)院校技能大賽、“挑戰(zhàn)杯”中國大學(xué)生創(chuàng)業(yè)計劃競賽、全國大學(xué)生職業(yè)規(guī)劃大賽、金磚國家職業(yè)技能大賽等比賽獎項,屢次開創(chuàng)我省高校參加國家級比賽的最好成績;涌現(xiàn)出“中國大學(xué)生自強之星”“海南省大學(xué)生自強之星標(biāo)兵”“優(yōu)秀共青團(tuán)員”等一批先進(jìn)典型。
The college currently comprises 9 secondary-level schools, namely the School of Marxism, School of English, School of International Business, School of Oriental Languages, School of Western Languages, School of International Tourism, School of Humanities and Arts, School of Physical Education, and School of International Intelligence, offering a total of 44 academic specialties. In recent years, the college has further advanced the talent cultivation model of “Foreign Languages + Specialties + AI (Artificial Intelligence)”, striving to foster high-caliber applied talents with a profound sense of national identity, international vision and cross-cultural communication competence. The students have made the outstanding achievements in various competitions concerning translation, speech, skills, cultural and sports. Notably, in the past five years, the students have won over 200 national-level awards, as well as more than 500 provincial-level awards. The college has repeatedly distinguished herself among the universities and colleges in Hainan, securing numerous National Grand Prizes and National First Prizes in prestigious competitions, such as the Worldskills Competition for Vocational and Technical College, China “Challenge Cup” Entrepreneurship Plan Competition for University Students, China National Career Planning Competition for University Students, BRICS Vocational Skills Competition. Additionally, the college takes pride in producing exemplary individuals, recognized as “The Sell-improvement Stars of Chinese College Students”, “The Self-improvement Stars of Hainan College Students” and “Excellent Communist Youth League Members”.

學(xué)?,F(xiàn)有教職工400多人,其中每年聘請各語種外籍教師近30人,具有碩士、博士學(xué)位的專任教師比例達(dá)63%,高層次人才68人。學(xué)校實施“人才強?!睉?zhàn)略,引進(jìn)一批國內(nèi)有影響力的外語教學(xué)專家、留學(xué)歸國人才、商貿(mào)與旅游行業(yè)資深專家來校任教,培養(yǎng)了一批省級教學(xué)名師、骨干教師,同時聘請大批來自國(境)內(nèi)外高校、研究機構(gòu)的客座教授和來自行業(yè)、企業(yè)一線的專家能手,打造一支“專家引領(lǐng)、中外融合、專兼結(jié)合”的優(yōu)秀教學(xué)團(tuán)隊。近5年,教師獲得200多項省級、50多項國家級榮譽和獎勵。成功打造應(yīng)用俄語、商務(wù)英語、多語種商旅融合等3個省級高水平專業(yè)師資團(tuán)隊。
HNCFS boasts over 400 teaching staff and faculty members, including approximately 30 foreign teachers. Noticeably, 63% of the full-time teachers have attained Master’s Degree or Doctor’s Degree. The college is blessed with 68 High-level talents. The college has been implementing the strategy of talent-driven development. So far, the college has engaged a number of influential domestic experts of language teaching, exceptional overseas returned talents, and senior specialists from the foreign trade and tourism industries. The college has also successfully cultivated a multitude of provincial-level Distinguished Teachers and backbone teachers, while engaging a wealth of visiting professors from esteemed institutions both at home and abroad, as well as experts from various industries. Through the concerted efforts we’ve built an outstanding teaching team led by experts, integrating Chinese and foreign educators, and combining the full-time and part-time teachers. Furthermore, in the past five years, the teachers have won over 200 provincial-level honors or awards and awards and more 50 national-level ones. The college has successfully built 3 provincial-level high-class professional teaching teams, including those specialized in Applied Russian, Business English, and Multilingual Business Travel Integration.

學(xué)校全力服務(wù)國家“一帶一路”倡議和海南自貿(mào)港“45432”發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略,緊密貼合符合區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)的新質(zhì)生產(chǎn)力發(fā)展需求,構(gòu)建“外語類專業(yè)為主體,國際商貿(mào)、國際旅游專業(yè)為兩翼,人文素養(yǎng)和人工智能雙輪賦能”的“一體兩翼雙賦能”特色專業(yè)發(fā)展格局,實現(xiàn)專業(yè)設(shè)置與產(chǎn)業(yè)需求對接,形成涵蓋教育與體育、旅游、財經(jīng)商貿(mào)、文化藝術(shù)、醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生、電子與信息、裝備制造等7個專業(yè)大類體系。擁有2個中央財政支持的專業(yè)建設(shè)項目、4個省級特色專業(yè)、4個省級高水平專業(yè)群。與省內(nèi)13所中等職業(yè)學(xué)校合作開展中高職“3+2”人才培養(yǎng)試點項目。與多所高校開展近10個專業(yè)高職本科“3+2”“4+0”聯(lián)合人才培養(yǎng)試點項目。應(yīng)用外語專業(yè)群和國際商務(wù)專業(yè)群成功入選省高水平專業(yè)群建設(shè)項目,應(yīng)用英語專業(yè)獲GDI智庫高職??茖I(yè)評估A檔專業(yè)。應(yīng)用外語專業(yè)群、國際商務(wù)專業(yè)群被認(rèn)定為海南省產(chǎn)教融合特色專業(yè)群,獲批省首批職業(yè)院校教師教學(xué)創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊2個。
The college is fully committed to serving the national Belt and Road Initiative and the "45432" development strategy of the Hainan Free Trade Port, closely aligns with the development needs of New-quality Productive Forces in the regional economy, and has created a distinctive major development pattern of “One Body, Two Wings, and Dual Empowerment” – with “foreign language majors as the main body, international business and international tourism majors as the two wings, and humanistic literacy and artificial intelligence as the dual driving forces for empowerment”. This enables the alignment of major settings with industrial demands, optimizes the major layout and cluster formation, and forms a system covering 7 major professional categories, including Education and Sports, Tourism, Finance and Business, Culture and Art, Medicine and Health, Electronics and Information, and Equipment Manufacturing. The college has 2 major construction projects supported by the central finance, 4 provincial-level characteristic majors, and 4 provincial-level high-class major clusters. The college has collaborated with 13 secondary vocational schools in Hainan to launch the secondary-vocational-to-higher-vocational “3+2” talent cultivation pilot program. Additionally, the college has carried out joint talent cultivation pilot programs for higher vocational education to undergraduate education (covering nearly 10 majors) with a number of universities, including the “3+2” and “4+0” models. The Applied Foreign Languages Major Cluster and the International Business Major Cluster have been successfully selected into the provincial-level high-class major cluster construction project. The Applied English major has been rated as an A-level major in the higher vocational college major evaluation by the GDI Think Tank. The Applied Foreign Languages Major Cluster has been recognized as one of the first batch of Hainan Provincial Industry-Education Integration Characteristic Major Clusters, and the International Business Major Cluster as the second batch. The college has also been approved for 2 of the first batch of provincial vocational college teacher teaching innovation teams.

學(xué)校多元布局產(chǎn)教融合,構(gòu)建航天及多領(lǐng)域人才培養(yǎng)新格局。牽頭組建的文昌國際航天產(chǎn)業(yè)市域產(chǎn)教聯(lián)合體入選海南省第一批市縣域產(chǎn)教聯(lián)合體建設(shè)對象,國際智能語言服務(wù)產(chǎn)教融合共同體被認(rèn)定為海南省第一批行業(yè)產(chǎn)教融合共同體培育建設(shè)對象,國際語言服務(wù)產(chǎn)業(yè)學(xué)院入選海南省高等職業(yè)院?,F(xiàn)代產(chǎn)業(yè)學(xué)院建設(shè)項目。牽頭成立中科航天產(chǎn)業(yè)學(xué)院、航天應(yīng)用技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)學(xué)院暨航天應(yīng)用人才培養(yǎng)共同體。成立9個產(chǎn)教融合校企合作工作室,開發(fā)10部產(chǎn)教融合教材,多個案例獲全國產(chǎn)教融合典型案例獎項。建有6個省級科研機構(gòu)和14個校級科研機構(gòu)?!懂?dāng)代外語教育》被中國社會科學(xué)評價研究院評為“2022年度中國人文社會科學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)集刊AMI綜合評分”入庫集刊。近3年來,教師承擔(dān)省級以上科研項目90余項,發(fā)表論文300余篇,出版專著近20部,實現(xiàn)國家社科基金項目、教育部人文社科研究項目、教育部高校產(chǎn)學(xué)研創(chuàng)新基金、中國高等教育學(xué)會科學(xué)研究規(guī)劃課題、海南省自然科學(xué)基金面上項目、海南省哲學(xué)社會科學(xué)規(guī)劃重點項目等多項零的突破。
HNCFS has adopted a diversified layout for industry-education integration and has established a new pattern for talent cultivation in aerospace and multiple other fields. The Wenchang International Aerospace Industry City-Level Industry-Education Consortium, initiated and established by the college, has been selected as one of the first batch of city-and-county-level industry-education consortiums to be developed in Hainan Province. The International Intelligent Language Service Industry-Education Integration Consortium has been recognized as one of the first batch of industry-education integration consortiums for cultivation and construction in Hainan Province, and the International Language Service Industry Institute has been selected into the Modern Industry College Construction Program for higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province. HNCFS has taken the lead in establishing the Zhongke Aerospace Industry College, the Aerospace Applied Technology Industry College and the Aerospace Applied Talent Cultivation Community. It has established 9 industry-education integration school-enterprise cooperation studios, developed 10 industry-education integration textbooks, and seen multiple cases win national awards for typical industry-education integration practices. The college has established 6 provincial-level scientific research institutions and 14 college-level scientific research institutions. “Contemporary Foreign Language Education” has been included in the “AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Academic Journals in Humanities and Social Sciences in China in 2022” by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Institute. In recent three years, the teachers of the college have undertaken more than 90 scientific research projects at or above the provincial level, published more than 300 papers, and nearly 20 monographs. Notably, it has made breakthroughs in multiple projects, such as the National Social Science Fund Projects, the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Projects of the Ministry of Education, the Industry-Education-Research Innovation Fund for Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the Scientific Research Planning Projects of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, the General Projects of Hainan Provincial Natural Science Foundation and the Key Projects of Hainan Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning.
國際交流合作 International Exchange and Cooperation
學(xué)校全力服務(wù)“海南國際教育創(chuàng)新島”建設(shè),不斷擴(kuò)大與“一帶一路”共建國家尤其是東盟國家的教育交流合作,為師生搭建廣闊的出國留學(xué)、帶薪實習(xí)、社會實踐等平臺,讓每一位海外院學(xué)子都擁有更高、更廣闊的國際交流學(xué)習(xí)平臺。學(xué)校將國際化理念融入到人才培養(yǎng)、科學(xué)研究、社會服務(wù)和管理的全過程,緊緊圍繞國家“一帶一路”建設(shè)和國際化人才培養(yǎng)需求進(jìn)行布局,探索多層面的國際教育合作形式,每年吸收來自各國學(xué)生來校學(xué)習(xí)。與外國教育機構(gòu)合作,舉辦各類短訓(xùn)班和教師進(jìn)修項目;與50多所院校簽署合作協(xié)議,舉辦短期游學(xué)、優(yōu)秀課程引進(jìn)、“3+1”“2+2”“2+3”專升本、專升碩等學(xué)歷提升項目和實習(xí)就業(yè)項目。俄羅斯國家創(chuàng)新實踐中心、省華文教育基地相繼落戶,國際生規(guī)模和出國(境)留學(xué)學(xué)生均實現(xiàn)持續(xù)增長。中文課程成功“出?!?,實現(xiàn)國際化輸出,教育品牌國際影響力持續(xù)增強。
HNCFS bolsters its efforts in supporting Hainan’s transformation into the “Pacesetting Island for International-oriented Education”. The college continuously boosts educational exchanges and cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road, especially the ASEAN nations, providing abundant opportunities for both the teachers and students to engage in overseas study, paid internships and social practice. It infuses internationalization into all aspects of its operations, including talent development, research, social services, and management. With a steadfast focus on the BRI and the internationalized talent cultivation, the college has been exploring diverse forms of cross-border education cooperation. Each year, the college attracts foreign students, particularly those from colleges in the Belt and Road countries, to study here. We’ve also hosted a variety of short-term training classes and further-study programs for teachers in partnership with global educational institutions. Besides, the college has also forged cooperation agreements with more than 50 universities and colleges worldwide, facilitating short-term study tours, introducing high-quality courses, and promoting flexible education programs such as “3 + 1,” “2 + 2,” and “2 + 3” to aid students in advancing to university or even postgraduate levels. The Russian National Center for Innovation and Practice and the Provincial Base for Chinese Language Education have successively settled here. Both the scale of international students and the number of students studying abroad (overseas) have maintained steady growth. Chinese language courses have successfully “gone global”, achieving international outreach, and the international influence of the education brand has been continuously enhanced.
社會服務(wù) Social Services
學(xué)校大力加強多語種服務(wù)人才團(tuán)隊建設(shè),每年選派師生志愿者為博鰲亞洲論壇、中國國際消費品博覽會、中非農(nóng)業(yè)合作論壇、文昌國際航空航天論壇、南洋文化節(jié)等大型國際活動提供志愿服務(wù)。被授予博鰲亞洲論壇年會志愿者“鉆石合作單位”,多次得到消博會組委會表彰。積極助力海南全面提升公民外語水平行動,開展公共場所外語標(biāo)識標(biāo)牌糾錯“啄木鳥”行動,為公務(wù)員和公安民警提供多語種和涉外業(yè)務(wù)培訓(xùn)。連續(xù)多年承辦全省暑期中小學(xué)英語教師口語培訓(xùn),打造了海南中小學(xué)“陽光快樂”特色印記外語教育培訓(xùn)品牌。組織多批次干部教師志愿者支援全省疫情防控,獲省委組織部、省教育廳表彰。選派9名干部到定安新竹鎮(zhèn)祖坡村,文昌東郊鎮(zhèn)碼頭村、蓬萊鎮(zhèn)蓬萊村開展定點扶貧和鄉(xiāng)村振興工作,兩任第一駐村書記獲“全省脫貧攻堅先進(jìn)個人”稱號,定點幫扶工作兩次獲評全省“優(yōu)秀”。
HNCFS has intensified the concerted efforts to strengthen the construction of a multilingual service talent team. The teachers and students volunteers are annually selected for major international events in Hainan, such as the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in Agriculture (FOCACA), Wenchang International Aerospace Forum and the Nanyang Culture Festival. The college was awarded the “Diamond Cooperation Unit” of the BFA Annual Conference 2022 for students’ volunteer work, and was highly commended by the organizing committee of the CICPE for many times. The college has played a proactive role in Hainan’s action to comprehensively improve the foreign language proficiency of citizens. The measures taken include launching the “Woodpecker” Action to rectify the errors on the foreign language signage in public places, and providing multi-language and foreign-related business training for civil servants and the public security police. The college has also organized the oral English training for primary and secondary school teachers in this province during the summer vacation for the consecutive years, and created a foreign language education and training brand— “Sunshine & Smile” in Hainan’s primary and secondary schools. During the pandemic, Multiple teams of cadres and teachers were assigned to support epidemic prevention and control on the island, and were commended by both the Organization Department of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the Education Department of Hainan Province. Nine cadres were dispatched for targeted poverty reduction and rural revitalization in Zupo Village, Xinzu Town of Ding’an County, Matou Village, Dongjiao Town of Wenchang City, and Penglai Village of Penglai Town respectively. Among them, two first secretaries were awarded the title of “Provincial Outstanding Individual for Poverty Alleviation”, and the college’s paired assistance was rated “Excellent” twice in the whole province.

Waves surge on the southern coast of Hainan; we raise our oars and set sail again! As the Hainan Free Trade Port embarks on its closed-off operation, Hainan College of Foreign Studies will continue to stand at the forefront of national strategies, keep in step with the pulse of opening-up and development, root itself in Hainan, face the world, and integrate Chinese and foreign elements.
